Job Responsibilities

As a Dishwasher/Utility team member, your duties include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant.
  • Washing and sanitizing dishes, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Operating dishwashing machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting with kitchen prep tasks, including preparing signature Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
  • Removing trash from the kitchen and other areas.
  • Supporting cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Following strict cleanliness and safety standards to maintain a healthy environment.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To be a successful Dishwasher/Utility team member, you should:

  • Meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Have the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Be capable of standing and moving throughout an 8-12 hour shift.
  • Work well in a team, with attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Preferably have culinary experience (though not required).
