About the Role

American Cruise Lines is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Dishwashers for the upcoming 2025 season. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to build their hospitality career while traveling the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley, including washing cutlery, glassware, dishes, and related areas.
  • Operate and monitor the commercial dishwasher, reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Receive and carry food deliveries, handling boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist in galley-related tasks such as greeting guests, supporting special events, and participating in evening activities.
  • Uphold high standards of guest service by catering to galley requests and building positive interactions with passengers.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Capable of working 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, for up to 28 consecutive weeks.
  • Able to handle moderate physical demands, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) as per federal regulations.
  • Adherence to company grooming standards, including restrictions on visible tattoos and piercings.
